Rumcajs - the title character from the novels Václav Čtvrtka and Czechoslovakian animated series for children, directed by Ladislav Čapek titled Rumcajs highwayman. The creator of the graphic image of the robber is a painter Radek Pilař . The cycle consists of eight volumes of novels, of which in Poland has been issued so far only four of them - the first, fifth, sixth and seventh series has 39 episodes.

Rumcajs came from Jičín and was by profession a cobbler , a robber was of vital necessity. He had a wife, Hanka (in the original Czech Mank) and Cypiska son, did not part with a characteristic gun. All three lived in a cave in Rzaholeckim Forest. Rumcajs enemies were Mr. Duke and Duchess of you, this conflict was fought around the fairy story.
